An extremely stylish and elegant new restaurant on Koh Samui, Chalay-Bun Aesthetic Dining is to be found close to the southern end of Chaweng, the island’s favorite beach. There’s a tempting array of fine Thai and
international dishes thanks to a menu that’s specifically been chosen to appeal to all the senses. Well-presented, the food is served by attentive waiting staff, who will look after your every need.
The main restaurant is on two foors. There’s a lower deck where a two-piece band plays for guests’ entertainment and an upper deck in a sala with a beautiful roof of wood shingles. The atmosphere is both romantic and laid-back. The décor is impeccable with giant fabric-covered lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
The restaurant faces the main street, but should you wish to dine close to the beach, four dining pavilions await you. Each holds just one table and they overlook the swimming pool and the sea. It’s a truly intimate setting for a dinner – book early to avoid disappointment. Chalay-Bun comes from the Thai meaning, ‘memories of the sea’ and certainly dining this close to it will be an occasion to remember
With plenty of candles and gentle lighting, Chalay-Bun Aesthetic Dining is a wonderful venue. It’s part of
Kirikayan Boutique Resort, an elegant hotel which has a hillside counterpart in Maenam, Sankala Fine Cuisine, at Kirikayan Luxury Pool Villas and Spa.
