Thailand is a hub of activity and culture. One of the highlights of heading to this country are the beaches, but the culinary experiences are also some of the best in the world. There are a wide variety of dishes that all taste great and are unique to the area. If you are planning to travel to Thailand, make it a point to find out as much as you can about the restaurants and food stalls in the area. Bangkok, in particular, has a wide array of choices.

When it comes to the street vendors, what should you keep an eye out for? Obviously, the area should be clean. For instance, if there is a tray that is holding condiments, that tray should not be soiled with old food. If it is clean, that is a good indication that the kitchen is clean, too. In addition, as you walk around, try out a street vendor that has a lot of other people at his or her stall. Because the food is going out to customers quickly, you know it is not old. Keep in mind that there are a lot of spices used in Thai dishes that you don’t find anywhere else. Your meal may be quite spicy but also have some sweetness to it as well. Local choices are ideal for this situation.
