Beautifully designed Kiree restaurant offers discerning guests a luxe experience that very few of Samui’s resorts can match. Overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, Kiree is as discreet as it’s chic. Kiree’s day is marked by two special events that are rare to find on Samui, anywhere. The first is a luxury breakfast, replete with delicacies such as oysters, salmon and smoked duck. Diners are treated to various cooking stations with items such as Serrano ham being carved before their eyes. Partly à la carte and partly a buffet, this must be just about the perfect breakfast. It’s mirrored by the equally sophisticated high tea, known here as Jib Nam Cha, served between 3:00 and 4:00 pm (or at other times if taken privately). It’s filled with gourmet delights and turns afternoons into a wonderful gastronomic experience.
On Saturdays, there’s a special brunch, while every evening Kiree offers a wide array of Southern Thai dishes, marked by spicy notes and with dishes from Phuket, Nakorn Sri Thammarat and further south. Everything is top quality, with beef being Australian Angus and Wagyu.
You can also feast on Thai tapas, known here as Kiree Lek Lek, with dishes such as Nua Dad Deaw (Deep Fried Thai Style Marinated Australian Beef) or Phad Thai Malagor (Stir Fried Papaya Noodle with Prawns, Sweet Tamarind Sauce, Dried Shrimp, Cashew Nut and Crispy Pork).
